“The new facilities have enhanced my performance by allowing better access to the training room for both injury prevention and rehabilitation. With more space for the coaching staff, I was able to find the perfect training plan to reach an even higher athletic performance level.”

ATHLETICS COMPLEX UPS MINES’ GAME
Colorado School of Mines athletics entered a new era with the opening of the Clear Creek Athletics Complex (CCAC) in the fall of 2015. This capstone project includes the Harold and Patricia Korell Athletic Center, Marv Kay Stadium, the Stermole Soccer Stadium and other significant improvements to Mines athletics facilities.
With support from generous donors, the city of Golden and the Mines community, the university has fulfilled its vision for a comprehensive athletics complex that can serve as the foundation for Mines’ outstanding student-athletes, allowing them to be committed to success both on and off the field.
Home to nine sports programs (football, men’s and women’s track & field and cross country, men’s and women’s soccer, baseball and softball), this impressive complex provides state-of-the-art equipment and training areas to Mines’ 17 Division II teams and pays homage to the strong tradition of excellence at Mines.
